Market for Intelligence Conference Book

Machine Learning and the Market for Intelligence is a conference by the Creative Destruction Lab, hosted at the Rotman School of Management. For its fifth annual event, they approached us to design their conference book, agenda, and tote bag.

Every year, the conference explores state-of-the-art applications of machine intelligence in a variety of domains, such as business, science, and healthcare. This year they were focused on these technological advances in the context of their impact on power. In particular how they can shift power from one occupation/business/group to another.

In response to the theme the book cover uses braille—a language an incredibly small percentage of Canadians are fluent in—shifting power away from conference attendees and asking them to consider a new perspective. Don’t worry: we included snippets of a cypher inside.

A big thank you to the CNIB for their assistance on this one!
