Ontario By Bike, a program of the not-for-profit organization Transportation Options, approached us to redesign their Cycling in Ontario Guide 2018. The guide is produced annually in both French and English to provide information for all kinds of cyclists — recreational to experienced road cyclists to mountain bikers — and inspire them to visit destinations across the province. Using supplied words and images, we created a modular design system to support the needs of both the editorial team and their numerous partners. We leveraged bold typography, regional maps and a custom icon set to support the reader as the navigate the guide. Plus, they add a little energy!
It's given out for free across the province, so look for it at your local bike shop or event.
